The famous Monsal Trail, which is ideal for walking and cycling with its recently opened railway tunnels, is at the bottom of our drive. We have cycle storage on site and bike hire is just a mile away both for electric and pedal bikes. There are delightful walks through the fields to Ashford.

Within 5 miles are Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall. The famous Derbyshire market town Bakewell is 2 1/2 miles away and The Heights of Abraham, Buxton, the Derwent Dams, Caverns and much much more are only a 20 minute drive.
The cottages are on our working sheep farm, 1/4 mile from the main road. Wake up to the sounds of the countryside, listen to the bird song and watch the sheep in the fields or enjoy a walk from the cottage door to the Monsal Trail.
